First World problem - my phone

With the dc off school, my ds9 has been using my phone to speak to his friends on WhatsApp. Which was fine until he pressed too hard on my screen, which was already cracked, and damaged the LCD display, I know have a delightful firework of green, black, red and purple stripes all over my screen.

I managed to go on the 02 website and order an iPhone 7 which I paid extra for to come tomorrow morning, however I'm now worried that it won't work with my sim. I have a Huawei phone, quite basic right now. Has anyone gone from a Huawei to an iPhone, just by switching the sim? Is it easy?

I'm worried because there's an app on my phone which I use to get on my work server when working from home, so a phone is essential to me.

Is O2 live chat with an O2 "guru" still operational. I would go for that although you might have a long wait. They are usually pretty good.

There are three sim sizes and you want the smallest for iPhone. Most sims come as the three sizes in one so you just need to pop the smallest bit out

And it's not a first world problem. Don't be embarrassed about getting an important piece of kit fixed.
