Hi i have had this melody in my head a couple of days and trying to find the song. Managed to play a few bars roughly on piano, is it Coldplay or something?

Is it paradise by Coldplay?

Mooserp · 04/04/2020 12:11

No idea but I'm so impressed that you can do that!

BogRollQueen · 04/04/2020 12:11

It’s definitely Coldplay but not Paradise I don’t think...

Definitely some similarities to Paradise, (1.2 billion views Shock) especially chords and feel but the melody seems a bit different. Its def got the Coldplay vibe though.
@Mooserp haha thanks, but it's a simple enough little melody whatever it is!

Let her Go by Passenger?

Cam77 · 04/04/2020 12:28

Quite similar to Passenger! It is a v.common pop chord sequence. Perhaps I just merged Paradise+Passenger together subconsciously!

Or I should say Let Her Go with Paradise

DH says sounds like a Coldplay one too.

Elephantonascooter · 04/04/2020 12:32

Whatever it is, it sounds beautiful in a pure form like that

Besom · 04/04/2020 12:34

Enjoyed that!

nowlook · 04/04/2020 13:07

Agreed! Even if it's mildly derivative, I think you should put some words to it and release. It's worked for Coldplay... Grin

nowlook · 04/04/2020 13:13

And, given you're mashing up, you might enjoy this @Cam77

Cam77 · 04/04/2020 13:24

@nowlook
Haha yes, you might be right about that!

Avicii The Nights?

Cam77 · 04/04/2020 14:03

@blueskys72
Yes it does sound like that, perhaps that explains it!
