Is irrational behaviour common in mental health

My son was described by the amhp that assessed him as very irrational.

Well it depends on the person and the condition. Mental health isnt a disease in itself you know.Hmm

Does he have depression or Schizophrenia or bipolar or what?

Mental health isnt a one size fits all....there are a multitude of conditions and there isnt much to go on from your op.

Most of my anxiety is over co completely irrational things, i know it is, but it doesn't stop it overwhelming me.

When my mental health isn’t in a good way then I am more irrational.

When my mental health gets bad I dont get particularly irrational but I become obsessed with accuracy and patterns and the such
