Over the counter antispasmodic?

Are there any over the counter antispasmodic tablets? I am starting to experience the same pains that preceded the most horrifically painful kidney stones a year and a half ago. They passed naturally but I did have 2 A&E visits and a CT scan. In order to try and avoid Drs or hospitals if I could just stop the pain I would be ok.

You can buy buscopan.

Colpermin.

However antispasmodic's can't be used to treat kidney stones/ symptoms of kidney stones - can they?

two different health issues I think. If you think you feel you have kidney stones again please contact your GP

I used buscopan for my gallstones. 2 tablets every 8 hours during flare-ups. It also works wonders for the horrific cramps I get during periods and IBS flare-ups.

Speak to the pharmacist, but buscopan is an anti-spasmodic.

It was an anti spasmodic they gave me last time I had kidney stones, I will ask the pharmacist for advice now Ink kw there are options that I dont need a prescription for.
