Any dentists about?

I’ve got a slight twinge in a molar. Not bad enough to need painkillers. I rang my dentist’s but they have shut for the Covid lockdown. They said I should only contact them again if there is facial swelling or blood. I’ve become terrified that I’m going to be left in agony also I work as an English tutor and have recently lost customers but managed to retain most by converting to online teaching. I can’t do it if I can’t speak and we need my income. I’ve cried my eyes out with fear of all this uncertainty. I was hoping someone on here might reassure me that there is treatment if you really need it. Thanks.

I've got a grumbling tooth at the moment. Spoke to my dentist yesterday and she pinned a prescription to the door for me to collect.

She did tell me county clinics were being hastily set up for emergencies and should be open by the end of the week. They will be able to do extractions etc.

Op. I'm a dentist. I'm
Not allowed to work. I've recently lost all my patients, all my staff and all my income too. It's awful.

We can't do any hands on treatment. Your dentist should be available to chat to you on the phone. Hopefully they can recommend some analgesics or something to help you in the meantime.
There is a lack of appropriate PPE ( face masks etc). Once that hopefully becomes available, some designated central locations may be able to treat the most serious cases.

We are all suffering, and I really feel for you, but try not to stress too much either
