Looking for recommendations for garden toys for my DS. We have a nice lawn area which he likes running on but I’d like some toys so we can stay outside for longer.

Water, always water.
If you can afford it, one of the water tables with pumps and squirty bits.
If not, a bucket, jugs, and cups.

Sandpit and suitable ‘tools’.
A mini slide. Both went down well with Gdcs at that sort of age.

Anything with water! Even on days which are just a bit warm we have water out maybe on a tray to splash in with cups, bowls etc. My little one has a small slide, we've brought it in the house atm and he loves it, loves putting cars etc down it.

We have a mini trampoline, and one of those tent and tunnel things.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We’re going to get a trampoline and look as a water table :)

Pop up paddling pool and ball pit balls.

We also had one of those little tikes climbing cubes with a slide. We got ours from a friend, a bit faded but it's just plastic so nothing much to go wrong with it. They outgrow them so quickly anyway.

We have a sand pit where the lid flips over to be a water table too. We've had it about 7 years now and it's gone through 2 children. Has had hours of play.
