Wimbledon cancelled. Will I ever get to SW19?

No real surprise that Wimbledon Is cancelled this year. I had had tickets in the ballot this year so I’m particularly upset it’s not going ahead. I have been trying for tickets for years.

The email from AELTC did mention that we would have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the same court next year and that this will likely follow the pattern of the lucky offers this year. Does anybody know what that means?

I’d rather they didn’t issue my refund and just transferred my ticket to the 2021 tournament 😔

I don’t know but it seems only fair that those who won seats in the lottery get to use them next year.

I’ve only ever queued for the ground pass, but that’s fun too.

It says on the twitter you will be able to buy the same day and court tickets . I am assuming when they say pattern they mean they will offer in same order as last time. I had tickets for centre court so disappointed too but glad should be able to go next year.

Im hoping we just get first dibs for same tickets 2021 but it will be at 2021 prices as they are giving us a refund now.

I think it means they'll refund you then next january, they'll offer you the same tickets again and you can repurchase them. Would be easier to just transfer them all over but maybe some people might want a refund so that's why they're doing it like this
