I found some gin I didn't know I had

While tidying a cupboard I found some gin! There are some small cans of tonic in the fridge.

Has anybody else found any nice surprises while tidying up during lockdown?

I've also found some beer (mainly lager plus some Guinness) which is about 6 months out of date. Bin it? Put it on the garden? Cook with it??

taybert - Unwatched Detectorists is even better than gin. I've watched all available episodes but still find myself hoping I'll discover one or two I didn't know about.

Hasa I will take the Guinness off your hands. I found 4 tins of out of date evaporated milk. I opened the oldest, it doesn't smell so I made fudge.

I found some skittles vodka that we made a few Christmas’s ago .... how long would that last? Looks a bit cloudy to be honest but smells ok

I found 3 rolls of toilet paper under the stairs, think I've struck gold! 🧻

Found 3 DVDs due back at Blockbuster....

@PerditaProvokesEnmity we discovered them because we were just going to re watch all the old ones anyway. I find it very soothing!

I found a cherry tomato, the cat was batting it around the floor. It’s in a ramekin now, you never know.

dh found half a bottle of cherry vodka he made last year.

I found a bottle of Killepitsch (really strong aperitif from Dusseldorf) yesterday. I haven't opened it yet because it demands to be consumed as shots. If I develop a sore throat though all bets are off and it will be in play!

I found some Arborio rice that went out of date in 2015, it made a lovely rice pudding yesterday which was polished off by the family. Also some popcorn kernels of similar vintage which we popped and ate on Saturday evening whilst watching a film. The only booze to turn up is a very old half bottle of sloe gin, smells like Benylin. Not yet desperate enough to sample it.

Wouldnt happen here I know the wearabouts of the gin at all times
