You wouldn’t be able to go on an amazing holiday, celebrate with friends and family who you didn’t live with, buying anything luxurious unless it was online or stocked in an essential local shop.

What would you do? Would it be a massive anti-climax?

If you were going to tell people would you tell them over FaceTime or similar or wait to tell them in person? I’d want to wait but I don’t think I could resist telling my parents and sister, they probably wouldn’t believe me.

Interesting posts on here - it seems that for a lot of people lockdown doesn’t make a huge amount of difference to your lottery win in terms of financial security being financial security. I think the main difference would be the “oh my god I’ve won” initial blowout you might do if you were free to go on holiday, buy a car etc etc.

It would remove financial worries
It would be brilliant.

And I could donate to good causes.

I’m not the sort of person who would go on holiday or to a pricey restaurant. Quite easygoing on those things. It would be the security that mattered to me.

A big chunk is going on a house, and house purchases aren't quick anyway. I can still order fun stuff and gadgets online. New car can wait until after new house.
