Has anyone noticed and April Fools jokes?

I've been looking through papers and news sites but haven't seen anything but grimness - if you see any, please post, we all need a laugh

A school where I live posted a real looking post they where doing a course for parents on how to teach at home next week and all parents had to participate. I actually fell for it and through a hissy fit and it wasn't even my kids school but both do the same thing.

I've only seen one - a great one from my local-ish Heritage cinema.

One of my FB "friends" told her kids school was back today. She's since spent all day with a very upset child that he can't go to school and see his friends and have life be normal again.

There was one on a local fb page this morning saying that a local McDonald's had reopened into drive through, complete with a photo of a bag of food and a coffee. That had quite a lot of people fooled!

Also loved the national trust squirrel one!

Dh put on our local fb page that the playing field and playground were going to be torn up and social housing put there. Locals and nimbys went crazy and thought it was real. Pulled the post in the end!

I was unaware of the day until This Morning showed an old April Fool done on Holly - where a woman had a really awful makeover (she was an actress playing a part). It was quite funny and the dress and boots were horrendous!
