Please send all the tips! I’m absolutely dreading it I won’t lie. Kids are 6 and 3, love to bicker and hate playing without input.

Lower your expectations on how much work you male them do. Forget all screen time rules. Time outside to wear them out if possible. Joe Wicks to knacker them out first thing

Hello I have a 5 and 3 year old boy, we have do some sumdog maths on iPad, and a few other educational app.
today we went a bike ride - we are rural and looked for things, feather / spiders web/ nuts / rabbit hole etc, then my 5 year old card home and draw a picture for each item and wrote the word under it of what is was to practise writing

We do a wee diary with a picture of what he did fun yesterday and 1 liner wrote under it explaining what it is

He does 1 page of maths a day, with lots of encouragement from me

Some fun PE type stuff off YouTube with his brother

Basically I spread it out a lot during day and also allow him time to watch tv and do what he wants to do during the day

He always reads a story at night even if it's just one page

I also don't put too much pressure on him or me, the way I see it even if he does nothing for 12 weeks till school maybe back it's hardly going to have a huge impact on him when he does exams at 16

Plenty of time to catch up

Try to split it up and make it fun if you can

Also don't stress about it, do what you can it's not gonna make a huge difference
