What remote training/qualification can be done in 2 months?

Is there a professional qualification/training that can be done remotely?

I've been furloughed along with a large percentage of the company and there's a strong indication we won't all be going back.

I've been considering a new career, is there anything I can do from home?

I’m following - I’ve been job hunting for ages but can’t see my prospects being improved by this. I had thought of copywriting, but I expect it’s a pretty dry period for that too...

Yes Verily, good one! That had crossed my mind.

Zelba, I sort of work in that area now. More marketing in general and my god it suddenly feels very vain under the current circumstances.

I was thinking more of a traditional/practical qualification.

Project management was another one, but I'm just curious to know if I can train into an area I'd never even considered.

What sort of things do you enjoy OP? It's best to work backwards and consider what sort of environment you would like to work in, and see what fits around that. Is money a factor? 'typical office' hours and work, or would you prefer shifts and something more flexible?

NW2SW · 31/03/2020 08:40

Honestly, not sure Oreo. I'm fairly open. I was considering celebrant training before everything kicked off.

Working in marketing/advertising it's never a leave-the-work-at-work job, so I'm wondering if that's something I might like.

I'm also very aware of how sedentary my career choice is and I really don't think another 30 years sat at a desk will be good for me.

Open learn have some short Free courses with certificates, as does futurelearn (although you did need to upgrade to claim it, might be waivered atm)
