Birthday present ideas please.

It’s my sisters birthday next weekend. She’s on her own with 4 children, 2 who have additional needs & they are struggling greatly with the change in routine & she’s feeling very down.
She got nothing for Mother’s Day & I want to make her birthday less shit.Our Mum died 18 months ago & our Dad is in isolation. No other family to help & I’m 100 miles away. I’ve sent cards from the children, but am not sure what to do for presents. She doesn’t drink so wine subscriptions are out. Does anyone have any mail order ideas?

What do you think she'd like? Chocolate? Flowers? Bath stuff/pampering? Magazine subscription? Crafts? Maybe if you give us an idea of what she likes people can recommend companies that do that thing mail order.

Have you tried looking on Amazon?

Decent chocolate, some books to read in bed, bubble bath and a really sincere card saying how proud of her you are and the offer to take her out once this is all over

Thank you. She’s tricky to buy for as she gets very little downtime. We’re her only respite care.
A Magazine subscription is a great idea. I’ve ordered get some lovecocoa chocolate & I think I’ll get a takeaway sent to her for dinner. I’m going to give her an iou for DH to babysit while I treat her to a day out. She’s amazing & really has a lot to deal with. Thanks again for the ideas.

It'll make it more expensive but maybe send her some small treats over the course of a few weeks. My 30th was last week and because the post isn't great at the moment I was getting cards and flowers etc over a few days, it was lovely having it spread out and getting different things each day.
