I’m an idiot - can I retrieve this?

I’d mentioned last week to my manager that I might like withdraw a leave request I have for next week. I never finalised and he has sent the rota for next week leaving me off (a pain to organise). The thing is leave is pointless

Do you think I can retrieve this - I’d be happy even just get back Mon and Tues. how do I phrase it - we have work to do. I’m useless!

You can always ask, he might be glad of extra people to do the work, or he may be wanting to minimise how much leave people all want to take at once when we get back to normal.

For the most part we're not letting people withdraw leave unless they're critical workers and we're asking them to. We'd just be storing up problems later in the year. I have 10 days booked for my Easter holiday ... I will be taking it because I have no choice my only consolation is that by then I'll be out of quarantine and at least able to leave the house, albeit briefly ....
