Advice please

Ladies! I need your help .
First of all i hope that you are all safe and sound and no one was physically affected by this virus !

My problem is that My ex husband and I Share the custody of my kid , he has the kid for the week and i get her on weekends , please understand that it was a long process long story , as i was young didn't have a lawyer legal aid was stopped then ....

Anyway my issue now is that because of this Covid 19 my ex decided to keep the child and decided that i will only see her on video, because he is at high risk due to underlying health issues. knowing that I live alone work from home and am fit and healthy no criminal passed , an in my early 30s. I don't smoke or drink, no drugs no relationships in the last 7 years .
I spoke to Citizens advice they said you need to get in touch with the court to enforce the order.

Now am going to speak to speak to a lawyer and i need to prepare for the call , need your advice on what questions I should ask .
I will need a lot of advice .
I will need a lot of advice from mothers like me ,if anyone with legal knowledge or going through similar situation can help.

the kid ? you lost me there. Why not put your child's welfare above your own, FaceTime on a regular basis at a regular time and stop arguing with your ex.

@wehaveafloater , you mean that it is fine if this situation lasts six months we should just adapt ? and when my ex refuses to let me see my kid after this six months is fine too ?

This is a situation where, in order to not expose your child to a potentially devastating virus, you put them first and keep your relationship going with other means. When there is a vaccine for this virus then things can change. But until then be the bigger person. It's not about winning or losing its about keeping your child safe and you can still be part of his/her life by regular video contact at set times that you can both look forward to.
