Turn them into French bread pizzas - cut in half lengthways, grill lightly, add topping of your choice then put under the grill again. DS's favourite snack.

Sprinkle with water and warm through in the oven.
Make them into croutons for soup.

Hot oven, splash them with tap water then heat for 5 minutes.

Or just let them get more stale, grind into bread crumbs, add seasoning and store in an airtight container to use later for chicken parmigiana, breading fish, making meatballs, etc

If nothing else, bash them up and store in freezer as bread crumbs.

Blitz them into breadcrumbs and put them in the freezer if you can't think of anything. That way I always have some handy for making stuffing or a breadcrumb coating if needed!

Run them under a tap very quickly. Cut in half, stuff with ham and cheese, wrap in foil and stick them in the oven in between two baking trays...yum

Turn them into pain perdu, a delicious (and quick) pudding, or an indulgent breakfast.

If you microwave them for 30 seconds they will be soft again.
