Question re Tesco

I'm going to Tesco's tomorrow - first shop in 10 days.

My parents and mum in law are both over 85 - I'm their shopping contact and I have a list for them, me (family of 4) and my mum in law.

What are the limits on what I can get? We all need milk, bread and a few other things on our list cross over.

What do I do?

”To ensure more people have access to everyday essentials, we have introduced a storewide restriction of 3 items per customer on every product line and removed multi-buy promotions."
Only 3 items for each product max.

Ok thanks. I need to go over our lists!

Not sure for Tesco, but I went to Aldi today and did shopping for 3 households. I paid for them separately and explained what I was doing. No problem at all, as I definitely had more of their 4 item limit.

Maybe speak to a member of staff before you start shopping.

I think tesco have now limited milk to 1 per customer. Our one has. And meat has been limited to 2 packs per customer (so 1 pack of mince and 1 pack of chicken thighs or whatever). But my tesco seems to have been totally ridiculous with its restrictions so I'm really not sure what the actual rules are.

My local Tesco is one eggs, one milk, three of everything else.

Sure I read that tescos had introduced a limit of one bread, milk, loo roll. Other items are a max of three.

I’m my store we lifted restrictions on lots of things today except milk, toilet roll, tins jars and packets , rice pasta, cleaning products and meat.

There obviously isnt a blanket rule in Tesco because I bought 2 loaves of bread, 2 milks, 3 different packs of meat today. Not bulk buying that's just a normal weekly shop for me.
