6 Underground.

Bit like Deadpool without the mask. The most violent, batshit thing I've watched in ages. Utter crap and I enjoyed every moment of it.

IHaveBrilloHair · 29/03/2020 19:49

Handsome Devil.
Lovely feel good film with a great soundtrack.

StCharlotte · 29/03/2020 19:50

Is Dumplin still on? I enjoyed that.

titbumwillypoo · 29/03/2020 19:56

6 underground is excellent silly fun if you want to turn your brain off for a bit (longest car chase ever) Quite enjoyed Downsizing the other night.

Sparrowlegs248 · 29/03/2020 20:15

To add, not keen on anything disney, marvel etc.

I've seen dumpling, quite enjoyed it for easy watching.

Anything thriller like?

JanMeyer · 29/03/2020 20:32

Do you like foreign films? There's loads of good Korean and Japanese films on netflix at the moment, The Drug King and The President's Barber are two I'd reccomend.
On Amazon prime I'd recommend What we do in the Shadows.

A great thriller on Netflix is ‘smoke & mirrors’ - it’s a Spanish film and
also a true story! You really couldn’t make it up!

TellItLikeItReallyIs · 30/03/2020 17:56

Circle ( NOT to be confused with THE Circle which is a different thing). This is just Circle no 'The' in the title. This one:

www.netflix.com/gb/title/80070182

Don't be put off by the description - it's very clever. It's about a group of random 50 people who awake in a dark room, arranged in two concentric circles around a black dome.

A beam from the dome kills them randomly and the dead are eventually removed.

They quickly realise they can vote who lives and dies and it becomes about how you value life in that situation (is a pregnant woman worth more than an old man? is a child worth more than a mother to a young child?) and how manipulative people are.

It's similar psychologically /in spirit to the Cube.

I really enjoyed it and thought for such a simple idea it is very well executed. In fact, writing this has made me want to watch it again.

It's very thought provoking. If you are big on action/splashy drama it's not for you as it's all within the same room and is all about the psychology of it.
