Easter in lockdown

Does anyone else think lockdown will be really tested at Easter?

We usually have a big family meal and go away. Taking AL seems like such a waste so I'll just have the stat days but will be expected to monitor my work phone.

Plus people tend to go on day trips etc.

Any ideas on how to make it better??

We usually have a second Christmas with full lead up and traditions for the kids. We will still decorate the house and do all the activities but have to adapt at home. Easter Day meal we will all cook at home and then try and share with family on zoom. Before lockdown I went to my mums and collected all the eggs and bits she’d bought the kids for the egg hunt she always does and will do it here instead and share video with her.

It's shit but it's only for a short while (comparatively anyway). People already seek to be getting stir crazy and it's been less than a week. Seriously, just get on with self isolating guys and it will be over with soon.

We've got Easter eggs sorted already so will just try to get hold of the fixings for a nice roast dinner and cake/pudding of some sort for Easter Sunday.

Hoping for decent whether so we can spend some time in the garden.

I'm still hoping we all get up on 1st April to an announcement that this has been a huge elaborate April Fool.
