I dont know how some people are getting their answers tbh

Chiyo666 · 29/03/2020 19:45

It’s quite scary tbh. This is basic algebra.

Although I’ll admit to having not spotted his shoes the first time.

Crunchymum · 29/03/2020 20:09

You can see the shoes much more clearly in the OPs picture.

So does that make it 22?

Confused
EggysMom · 29/03/2020 20:13

Top line shows that a shoe is 5

But it doesn't. It only shows that a pair of shoes is 10. The left shoe could be worth 2 and the right shoe worth 8. It's an assumption that they are both equal.

MadeFrom100percentPears · 29/03/2020 20:18

28?

dementedpixie · 29/03/2020 20:22

@Crunchymum the answer to that one isnt 12 either.

I think it gives the same answer as OPs puzzle which is 43

15 if you use BODMAS

JMAngel1 · 29/03/2020 20:37

Sorry, no it's 60

SmellMySmellbow · 29/03/2020 20:38

BODMAS
1 shoe = 5
1 boy = 5
1 chips = 2
Boy (5) x chips (2) = 10
1 shoe (5) + 10 = 15
Answer is 15.

dementedpixie · 29/03/2020 20:45

The boy has the shoes on and is holding 2 chips though so he now equals 19

bloodywhitecat · 29/03/2020 20:46

@SmellMySmellbow Look closely at what the boy is holding in the last row, look at his feet too...

daisypond · 29/03/2020 20:47

Answer is 43

Boy = 5. He has 2 cone (=4) and 2 shoes (=10) 5+4+10 =19
BODMAS
19 x 2 (one cone) = 38

  • 5 (one shoe) = 43
