No brackets around the boy and the cone so you do the sum sequentially, i.e. left to right, so add the shoe and the boy with shoes and cones, then multiply everything before the multiplication sign with the thing immediately after the multiplication sign.

If anything can be said to be bracketed it would be the boy and his additional items : shoe + (boy + 2 shoes + 2 cones) x cone = ?
