Boring question about rubbish

All of us who are stuck at home are busily clearing out their houses, weeding yards, etc, etc, etc. I for one now have several bags of rubbish, and the Tip is shut due to Covid. Short of fly-tipping them (which I'm not going to do, before anyone jumps down my throat), I am at a bit of a loss. I have filled my own bin and my neighbour's bin (with their permission). Does anyone have any bright ideas, please?

There is a private company near me that has its own private yard so not using council tips. They are licensed and will come and empty bins/remove rubbish for a fee. Some people don't agree with them working at the moment but because they're not coming into contact with anyone and the yard is private they are allowed to continue. Maybe there is a similar service in your area?

That's a good thought, Sheld. I will investigate. I've used rubbish removal men before, though they are ones who are licensed by the Council to take stuff to the tip. A private rubbish yard could be very helpful.

Make sure you use a licensed rubbish removal company otherwise you could be hit with a hefty fine if they fly tip your rubbish.
