...dry-roasted peanuts. I'd forgotten how tasty they are. High in calories but I try to disregard that and concentrate on the protein benefits. I haven't had Mini Cheddars for a while either so must revisit there soon.

I do that too Ada, only with wedges of lime instead.

It's 9.23 in the morning and I am craving snacks and booze as a result of reading this thread! Damn. Thursday is an alcohol-free day here too. On the plus side, I found a bag of pistachios at the back of the cupboard yesterday, left over from Christmas. G&T + pistachios tomorrow, I think.

Every time we've got a new fridge freezer I've kept the ice cube trays from the dead one. I'm in my late 50s so now have half a dozen.

Dry roasted peanuts UGH! The work of the devil. The smell makes me heave! That and those cheese puffs things.

I do like mini cheddars. Cheese melts, Tuc. Those twisty cheese sticks. Most crisps. Ordinary salted peanuts.

No gin sadly but somewhere I have a small bottle of brandy that I know I haven't finished (at least I think not!).

My amazing old aunt (died 2 years ago) would always have a sherry at l2pm (medium) and a dry sherry at 6pm with a small dish of twiglets and mini- cheddars. Every single day pretty much up to the day she died.

Worry not, Deathray. I've finished the DRPs tonight. They won't bother you any more. On the downside, I forgot to buy Bombay Mix today.
