...dry-roasted peanuts. I'd forgotten how tasty they are. High in calories but I try to disregard that and concentrate on the protein benefits. I haven't had Mini Cheddars for a while either so must revisit there soon.

Black pepper cashews

Yummy

Ohhhh cashews. And pistachios.

Giant Wotsits. Find them in Sainsbury's (nowhere else, strangely). Trust me, you wont look back.

Omg I love Wotsits. Need giant ones.

Fingers of toast with Gentleman’s Relish or tapenade.
Cubes of cheese with celery salt.
Savoury popcorn with black pepper/paprika/celery salt.

Smoked almonds, mmmmmm. Not had those for ages, must see if I can get any next time I'm out.

Olives, cubes of feta, cashews (sated or black pepper/salt), mini breadsticks.

I fancy wine and nibbles now.

Cheese straws!

Does anyone still like Pringles? They used to be hugely popular on here. If not, you can send your allocation to me.

Pringles are revolting.

Love a Mexican dip selection and Doritos cool original! Also salted popcorn, Ritz crackers and Boursin, any kind of salted nuts and the drinks bakery stuff is delicious.

Oh, just seen cheese straws mentioned! Yes to those, got some lush ones from Sainsbury's at Christmas. I just placed an order with the drinks bakery after reminding myself about them! That's my isolation treat 😂

Martini, olives. Throw some olive juice in the glass. Heaven.

(I have neither martini ingredients nor olives so am making do with Pinot noir and...more Pinot noir)

Steak Doritos

Pardon peppers are small green peppers. You fry or better still griddle them until charred and serve them with flaky sea salt. They are yum.

At Christmas (which is all of December and January, really ) I love Stilton and other cheeses served with a slice of Christmas cake, and walnuts and dried cranberries, with a glass of wine/port/sherry/cognac/calvados/whisky.

I’d love a baked Camembert with garlic and thyme right now, with walnuts and cranberries on the side. And lots of crusty bread. And wine.

Bacon frazzles

It's a good job one doesn't get lardy by writing or even thinking about nice snacks and booze.

In the summer, a little plate of crunchy radishes with salt for dipping.

Or for an extra special treat, prawns in crispy batter with sweet chilli dipping sauce.

When I'm being a pig - pringles and cheese and onion dip, Baked cheese and bread, really salty salt and vinegar crisps, cheese board and honey.

Low fat snacks - carrots and low fat humus or dolmio Mexican salsa. Walkers French fries Worcestershire sauce.

Lidl wasabi coated peanuts, balsamic vinegar kettle chips, fried chorizo with garlic and chili, rillete on toast fingers. All the reasons I can't fit into my jeans

Truffle honey with cheese and biscuits

Doritos and dip

Mini Cheddars with Bombay Sapphire gin and Fever Tree tonic.
Goats cheese crackers with Cava champagne.
Smoked almonds and olives with Rioja or dry sherry.
Battered prawns with dry white.
Dry roasted peanuts with beer.
Prunes with cognac.
Dark chocolate with rum.
I could go on.....
Drinks and nibbles are my favourite things in life.
