Indeed, it’s the first year. On one hand we are very busy, but wwe were also worried they might cut back.

My friend has had three healthy grandbabies born in the last 2 weeks. One set of beautiful twins and a singleton.

MatildaTheCat · 29/03/2020 21:02

Sorry, I’ve just realised you weren’t really asking for others’ good news!

Icare1234 · 29/03/2020 23:00

My Ds has just got an apprenticeship to do his masters, no added student debt. Congratulations Icare. Matilda how lovely for your friend, I hope there is a lot of Skyping going on.

RandomMess · 30/03/2020 17:32

DH has lost a stone in weight after giving up sugar and his health has massively improved if only he had listened to me years ago.

Hopefully he will lose another couple of stones too Smile

Great news from everyone.

My DD has got a job starting in Sept when she graduates in July. In a field relevant to her degree, with great further training opportunities and a 26K salary. Her partners job is mobile, so they are now looking at flats, they are so excited about not living in shared student flats anymore.

ErrolTheDragon · 01/04/2020 11:29

That's brilliant news!

DD has details about what her uni is doing by way of exams/assessments (she's 3rd year of a 4 year integrated masters) and she's happy enough with what they've decided to do, her department is being pragmatic.
