We are having a whats app service - readings hymns and prayers are being shared so that we can all partake together. Some of the children have recorded readings and songs - it's lovely!! There are a few streamed services from other churches that we can access later.

Not religious myself but my mum is and as very vulnerable is in total isolation with my dad . My dad found her live catholic services on line twice now. I expect she will take part on line again today . She is delighted that she can . No communion but apart from that it’s fine apparently. I am glad it gives her some comfort.

Live streamed Eucharist from the vicars study. He’d put the order of service online so people could follow

We got an email with a short talk from the vicar, a collect and some group church photos- we are still church.
We'll zoom together at 6pm tonight.

Virtual mass via the church website. All feels very odd and no communion but it's something

CigarsofthePharoahs · 29/03/2020 12:10

Mine is doing pre recorded sermons on an internet stream. It means I can listen when I feel like it!

Tiggles · 29/03/2020 12:12

I live streamed from my study this morning.

Raera · 29/03/2020 12:19

There's daily Mass from Leeds cathedral.
Also Angelus and Rosary
Last Sunday there was a concelebrated Mass with the Bishop and a Cantor, but that was before the 2 people only rule.

dd's care home had a live stream, went down really well(hope it continues after this)

BiBiBirdie · 29/03/2020 12:27

We get a weekly email and the vicars go live on YouTube and Facebook on Sunday and Wednesday
It's been great, something to hold onto in the sea of everything else being so frightening

Ellmau · 29/03/2020 12:33

Online. I got something out of it, but it wasn't entirely satisfactory. I found it hard to concentrate.

MasterBruceBalloon · 29/03/2020 12:33

You can pray a Spiritual Communion.

angorarabbit · 29/03/2020 12:39

Service streamed live onto facebook this morning, with reading and sermon pre recorded by different people added in.

NannyR · 29/03/2020 12:41

We had a video service on facebook, the vicar led the service from his study and did the prayers, the worship leader played his guitar in his flat, a member of the congregation read the scripture and the other vicar did the sermon from his house. Worked very well
We are also having a live stream bible study during the week instead of individual house groups meeeting.
