Tesco click and collect

Has anyone used this service recently and can you tell me if the shopping comes in bags now due to Covid 19.

How much contact, if any, is there with other people to collect the shopping?

I know home delivery is now in bags.

My sister is collecting an order and I'm trying to plan what she might need and whether there might be contact. if the shopping is bagged it cuts down on contact time.

I had a click and collect last Monday, all the food was in bag for life bags. Any substitutions I had to find in the bags and pace in one of the crates. It worked really well,

My Asda one was all bagged up. I stayed in the car and they put it all in my boot

If you want it bagged you have to select this option when you have selected your delivery slot. Your order confirmation email will tell you if you item is bagged or not, it's halfway down in bold.

No I think they are putting all orders in bags now even if you say no bags

That's good to know as I have a Click and Collect booked for Friday evening and I am supposed to be limiting social contact due to asthma but I can't get my usual Ocado delivery slots.

My Click & Collect Tesco shop (in Ireland) wasn't bagged. There isn't an option to choose bags & they just came as usual, in crates.

All fine. I used disposable gloves to pack tho

We just picked up ours and it was all in bags for life even though we selected bagless. It's a touch screen to enter your order number though so we aware of that.
