Looking at Jabra Elite Active 75 vs Jaybird Vista vs Sony (long code). Don't fancy Airbuds for some reason. What do you recommend? Thanks.

Dp who is quite particular about headphones is currently loving these.
He is very funny about things like this and was quite skeptical but actually he really rates them.

I know they are earbuds but they are quite cheap if you want to experiment without breaking the bank!

Airpods Pro (sorry). I’ve had lots of expensive headphones over the years & these are hands down my favourites.

BringMeTea · 28/03/2020 21:49

I just got RHA for my birthday. They are great. And I am fussy.

Pulppixies · 28/03/2020 21:51

AirPods are by far the best I’ve had and I’ve had loads.

AnyFucker · 28/03/2020 21:52

Airpods Pro

You get what you pay for

resipsa · 28/03/2020 21:54

Hmm...might need to adjust mindset! They are for running. Does that make a difference? Smile

Beats Pro are brilliant. Pricey but worth it.

Yes that matters - you don’t need noise cancelling if you are running. I run with my AirPod Pros but I turn them to “transparent” so I can hear the world around me. The problem with ear buds is that they are noise isolating by definition (so they can stay in your ears) and for running outside, you really need to be able to hear what’s happening around you.

The Jaybirds seem to be well rated, but if you have an iPhone I’d recommend looking at Power Beats Pro or the Airpods Pro - the Apple chip works so well with iPhone, it’s much easier to connect than my Bose headphones or my old Jaybird X4s.

Thanks. I have an iPhone (and iPad and Apple Watch) so AirPods are the obvious choice but I was feeling to need to rebel against Apple's takeover of my life!
Like the idea of the over-the-ear ones. My Bose Soundsports keep falling out.

Marking place, very helpful suggestions, can you recommend anywhere to purchase AirPod pros at the moment please?

SimplySteveRedux · 29/03/2020 10:01

Shure SE215/425/535 with the Shure wireless cable.

I have jbl endurance for running they go around the ear and join at the back too so never fall off/out

Alwayscheerful · 29/03/2020 10:38

@resipsa good call, thank you 😊 I have £100 gift voucher to use.

resipsa · 29/03/2020 10:40

Bargain then (well, relatively speaking!).

We’ve just bought AirPods but not the noise cancelling ones as they were almost double the price. I’m SO pleased with them!

WestCovina · 29/03/2020 10:50

I have the non pro AirPods as well and I absolutely love them, hands down the best purchase I’ve made, I use them every day.

thismeansnothing · 29/03/2020 10:50

If they are for running. Avoid in ear and get some bone conductors. Aftershokz are brilliant. Plus you can wear them for events/races.
