Or wherever you are fancying right now.

I went right off Harvester over the last few years but I could really go for their salad bar (before they changed it) and rolls right now! Salad with thousand island sauce and crunchy bits 😋

Main would be lamb donor and chips from my local Turkish restaurant, side of onion rings - and dessert would be a nice big slab of death by chocolate cake.

All washed down with a couple of bottles of wine of course 😁😁

I've actually got pasta bake 😁

What are you having?

My favourite is a local Indian restaurant, i would have chicken pakora and then chicken Chad I with rice and a nan bread! Delicious!

With a can of Diet Coke.

steppemum · 28/03/2020 18:04

well we are having pizza.
Only out of the freezer as we do every saturday, but I am quite happy, favourite time of the week!

But if I had a total free reign.
Really really good curry, but one of those places where you can get several small dishes. So a spinach one, a prawn mild one, a bit of stonking hot chicken.
YEARS since I had a good curry at a restaurant. I am the only one in our family who likes it.

When all this is over I am going to take my dad out for a curry blow out. He understands

TheWitchwithNoName · 28/03/2020 18:06

I just want pistachio and olive oil cake with mascarpone, not ice cream or cream, mascarpone please

Tapas! For sure. Lots of little dishes to pick from 😋 with a few pints alongside. (not very classy but I don’t like wine.)
What we’ve actually had this evening is leftover lasagne from 2 nights ago for the DC (stretched it out with some lentils and veg to go further) and salad. And I’ve had a ham, lettuce, avocado and mayo sandwich as I had avocados I needed to use. Lunch was avocado toast with olive oil, salt and chilli.
Looking forward to tomorrow allot. Chicken roast! 😋

Sparkle733 · 28/03/2020 18:14

I would love a chicken legend (mayo) meal and a vanilla milkshake!!!!
Instead I've got pasta and garlic bread..

SymphonyofShadows · 28/03/2020 18:16

We recently discovered an amazing Chinese/Thai place that I’m dreaming about going back to. I thought about a Chinese takeaway from the local place but also can’t because of germs, I’m ‘vulnerable’ because of recent cancer treatment. I’ve just made a prawn risotto, nice but not shredded crispy beef with chilli

OlaEliza · 28/03/2020 18:33

@Sparkle733 I reckon McD's is going to be the first place we go 😂

They don't have strawberry/choc/vanilla/banana shake here though 😔

BK does so we might have to do 2 stopoffs 😂

I would love a proper stone baked pizza with mushrooms, olives and artichokes.

We're having fake Nando's.

vampirethriller · 28/03/2020 19:18

My favourite Japanese restaurant does takeaway, it's going to be my treat when it's open again.
Eel fried rice with BBQ eel on top
Octopus dumplings
Crispy salmon skin rolls.
Extra to have for breakfast!

I actually had chicken and veg tray bake and a slightly stale scone after.

SpoonfulofDragon · 28/03/2020 19:55

Wagamama's Pad Thai. Unfortunately I will not eat it again due to how Wagamama's have treated their staff during the last couple of weeks.

Drbrowns · 28/03/2020 20:11

A really good burger, chips, onion rings and a strawberry milkshake or a proper pizza.

Frownette · 28/03/2020 21:07

Pie from a lovely local pie place with mash, minted peas and red wine and onion gravy.

They're shut for lockdown period.

steppemum · 29/03/2020 12:16

I get the feeling that restaurants are going to be heaving once we are allowed out.

Not sure that is a good thing, we will get a swcond wave!

OlaEliza · 29/03/2020 12:48

I'm probably going to eat out for a week 😂

Indian
Chinese
Fish & chips
A steak place that's supposed to be 👌
McDonald's
KFC
A fish place at the port that I passed and people were eating outside and that looked 👌 too

My local Italian
I'll be having Insalate tricolore
Followed by very rare fillet steak in a creamy mushroom sauce and courgettes in batter.

MadisonMontgomery · 29/03/2020 13:56

I don’t usually have McDonald’s that often, but since they closed it’s all I want!

MrsCastiel · 29/03/2020 14:00

Local Italian restaurant, run by actual Italian family and been in our town for 20+ years. I'll have the pastaciata, a big massive bowl of it. With their crispy garlic bread which is dripping in garlic olive oil.

Urgh. I want it now 😭😭

FlamingoAndJohn · 29/03/2020 14:01

My favourite cafe is amazing. The chef there has won UK wide awards for his food.

I don’t know what I’d have. Possibly the falafel open sandwich.

Polkadotpjs · 29/03/2020 14:01

Coconut prawns and veggie pad Thai from Tampopo
Then a vanilla cheesecake for pudding
Maybe a side of salt and pepper chips
And cider - can't get any.
And fizz
And chocolate when Lent is over - maybe m and ms salted caramel or some Wispa

steppemum · 29/03/2020 21:28

youn know that this thread made me go and bake a cake don't you?

The thought of all the boring food made me think we need a pick me up, so I made a huge tray bake.

Just wondering how much I can eat before the kids notice it isn't being fairly shared out

KitKat1985 · 29/03/2020 21:32

Right from my favourite Indian:
Vegetable passanda.
Vegetable samosa.
Pilau rice.
Peshwari nan.

MiniatureRed · 29/03/2020 22:33

I want a Big Mac with chips and a Coke Zero. WANNNT
