Click on any camera to see how quiet the streets are. There's a minute or two delay but it makes for compulsive and eerie viewing.

Ooh...thanks

QuimJongUn · 28/03/2020 15:53

I've just wasted a good two hours looking at this! Just as well there's fuck all else to do...

Thank you for sharing, fascinating!

Stereomum · 28/03/2020 16:10

Amazing! Thankyou for sharing.

myidentitymycrisis · 28/03/2020 16:12

I'm just looking out of the window!

ItsGoingTibiaK · 28/03/2020 16:17

First camera I looked at - old lady, walking stooped from left to right, young couple come towards her and walk right by practically shoulder-to-shoulder. Plenty of room for them to have kept their distance. :-(

StrawberryTarts · 28/03/2020 16:26

Hyde Park Corner deserted on a Saturday afternoon?! God, that’s sort of given me the chills.

Thank you, though, OP. I’ve found it really interesting.

QuimJongUn · 28/03/2020 16:41

@ItsGoingTibiaK first one I looked at was the road I worked on 10 years ago - completely empty apart from two police officers and a jogger. The jogger actually squeezed past the police to get by! He could've easily just ran into the road, there's not a car in sight.

It's especially eerie for it being a Saturday afternoon, isn't it.

I've never, ever seen Piccadilly Circus this quiet, even on my way home from a night out at 5am!

Amazing and eerie

Bit 28 Days Later .

They must have filmed that about 5.30 on a summer morning or something though I know that with permission parts of London will be closed off for movies.

Shinyfloors · 28/03/2020 17:38

Loved this, thanks

pluiedeprintemps · 28/03/2020 17:47

thankyou

sleepwhenidie · 28/03/2020 17:49

I think MN traffic from here has crashed it!

willowpatterns · 28/03/2020 18:00

I think MN traffic from here has crashed it!

Whoops! Move along folks, nothing to see here...

QuimJongUn · 28/03/2020 18:15

Working fine for me... Here's a not at all spooky shot of Trafalgar Square on a Saturday evening to prove it!

Very eerie

Binterested · 28/03/2020 19:46

It never looks like this Sad

Madcats · 29/03/2020 08:31

Oh I am going to waste so much time watching this!

From my time working in the City I seem to remember there were quite a few little caretakers' flats. It must be especially eerie for the few people that do live centrally.

QuimJongUn · 29/03/2020 13:00

Camden High Street on Sunday afternoon. Bonkers.

I was wondering what those people were doing then I realised it was the queue for Lidl!

Eery.

permana · 29/03/2020 18:37

Wow.
Thanks for this op.
Fascinating to see how many buses are running....when the streets are empty.

Smellbellina · 29/03/2020 18:40

First one I looked at was just ambulances and a police car! 😱

ArriettyJones · 29/03/2020 18:43

And they’re called “jam cams” on the URL!

Ironic and, yes, eerie.
