Tesco on line slots

Does anyone know what time the on line Tesco ship slots are released ?

I got a spot for delivery on 18th April ... tried after midnight and they showed as full but hit refresh a few times and some appeared. It's 3 weeks away but still, am happy to have got it.

I managed to get a slot last night by setting the alarm for 12.00! Crazy and they seemed to go Instantly.

I’m in a queue apparently 🤨

Just booked a click and collect for 19th April no home delivery slots though

I used Tesco click and collect on Thursday, it was empty. The man working there only had 22 customers booked in for the whole day even there are no slots available for the next 3 weeks. Only 3 items missing off my order but all 3 where available in store. My local Tescos doesn't seem to be coping at all, and I won't be bothering to try click and collect again if I still have to go in shops to complete my shopping, rather defeats the object. Visited my local farm shop and it was brilliant, I've never seen the shelves so well stocked.

Nope got thrown out of the queue and Monday the 20th isn’t showing and no dates available 😕

I booked a click and collect for Sunday 19th as it was all that was available at midnight. I'm in a busy outer borough of London. I'm sure yesterday's slots came on earlier, I was dozing while waiting up and by 11:45 they had been out and gone!

No delivery slots came up but I think that's because they were open previously and had closed again, but people already booked their deliveries in that time - I know I had the opportunity to do this at the time and chose not to, thinking early April would be enough! But the more we know, the less likely I think it will be that life will go "back to normal" any time soon.

Managed a slot for the 19th April at about 5 past midnight. Had to queue for a bit then to shop but checked out and all done! I'm shielding so it's a bit of a relief

I was in a queue , waited 48 minutes until I got through and no slots left on the 20th .
Bah !

@Slipslide2020 slots for Monday 20th wont come online til midnight tonight

I was held in a queue, “please stay on this page it will be refreshed automatically ” for 48 minutes then got through and all the slots for Sunday 19thwere gone .
No click and collect here at all .
Will try again midnight tomorrow .

You can now only order 80 items in total which isn’t very helpful if ordering for other households who are self isolating!

I know ! I order for 3 households , 9 people in all .
3 under 10 year olds ,
1 96 year old
2 key workers
1 post op and immunosuppressed after chemo
2 normal !

I was on the app 10 mins before midnight but still got the wait in the queue screen. Got on 50 mins later and all slots gone

@trumpton I do similar to you, having to get my grandparents 3 apples instead of 4 when I know they will have to share the 3rd one makes me sad.

Why don't you buy a bag of apples instead of loose one's? You usually get 5/6 apples in a bag and you can order up to three bags.

I wanted 6 bananas. I could only buy the maximum of 3 loose but I had the option of a bag of 6 bananas which I went for instead. I also got a bag of apples.

Perhaps your store is out of stock at the moment of bags of apples. You might be able to add them on to your order before your delivery date if they have more stock.

Yes,do try editing your order later on and you can probably get the bag.

If you're in a queue at midnight and all the slots have gone, set your alarm and try again at about 2am-2:15. The slots will be released if the person who nabs it doesn't check out within two hours, and if there's a high number of slots/activity at midnight then you have a better chance of some coming free after 2am.

Just got a slot for the 20th were all showing unavailable at midnight, So trying after 2 is a good shout.

Someone on another thread posted something that made me realise they were releasing them daily, rather than weekly as I’d assumed. So I logged in & lucked out getting one straight away.

I went back a few minutes later to try to book one an isolating friend could use & they’d all gone. I guess we will just share again. I’m doing shopping for my ekderly Aunt too though and my friend is a family of 5- it’s a bit tricky with the item limit & over all limit.
