Anyone remember this bread from the 1980s?

I think it came from the milkman (Unigate). The plastic bread wrapper had a cartoon drawing of a family (Farmer, Farmer's Wife, two kids etc) on it and the wife was holding a loaf of bread with the same cartoon family on it.

I've googled everywhere and can't find any reference to it, or image. Can anyone help?

I vaguely remember the packaging but not the name. Mighty white does ring a bell though.

You've reminded me of something that I was wondering about a while ago: whatever happened to Mother's Pride?

Falangalangadingdang · 28/03/2020 12:19

Or Mothers Pride?

Mighty white - it was supposed to be healthier I think?

And yes, I am really really bored!!!

Thanks to the poster who suggested the bread was actually called Farmer's Wife, I found this advertising tea towel....

Thank you all - nice trip down memory lane with Mighty White!
