Can I get a laptop anywhere?

Has anyone spotted any deals on laptops? I know it's unlikely, Amazon and John Lewis seem to be sold out. I need one for the kids school work.

We've never really needed a laptop, I use my work one but I'm NHS and out all day currently.

Seems laptops are like toilet paper currently!

We've just got one direct from Dell, think it was about five days delivery

Would a Chromebook work? Amazon have some reconditioned. It works for my kids as they use google classroom?

I've had emails from Currys saying they've got tablets and laptops in stock.

Would also recommend a Cromebook for school work.

I got a basic laptop from curry's, £200, delivered next day, which was yesterday

Thanks! Hadn't thought about Argos and yes you've just reminded me I think it's a chrome book they use in school.

I'll go look 👍🏻

I work in the industry - spoke to a wholesaler the other day who had 200 laptops arrive in stock in the morning. By 3pm he had 3 left. I didn't even ask the spec - just ordered one. Wish I'd bought all 3 of them now. Until China recovers, laptop production won't meet demand.

I got a Lenovo one delivered yesterday from Very. Signed up as a new customer and used the code welcome to get 10% discount. Only took a few days to deliver.
