"The jumper" from The Killing. Faroese wool and everything. Unfortunately then I got fat and it no longer fits but it's still my favourite item of clothing.

My Kenwood food processor. A bit random admittedly, but I love to cook and it makes kids so much easier 😍

I told dh a story once about how at Christmas I was given a large bar of galaxy (my fave) and my horrible stepdad opened it and started munching away on it. I gently said to him that he was eating my Christmas present and for that I was banished to my room alone for the rest of Christmas.

So at Christmas one year I had this gigantic flat oblong present to open from dh- it was about two feet long. It was a huge bar of galaxy that he had got me to make up for what happened when I was a kid!

That was about 18 years ago and remains the best present I will ever get.

Giant costco carrot cake. DH hates nuts so it was mine all mine. Dd was 3 week old and all the visits had happened and dh back at work so I spent all week sat on sofa with DD asleep on my chest watching films and eating carrot cake. Best week of my life.

@Bunnyflop that's so lovely 😊

The year the Christmas company farepak went down and I had no idea how I would afford Christmas, a friend made a huge hamper up for us, food, sweets, toys for our son, smellies for me, all wrapped in my fave colour pink, with ribbons and bows, still brings tears to my eyes writing it now.

sockittome123 · 02/04/2020 22:15

Indie - as an F1 fan I so need to know which driver it was....... Grin

magimedi · 02/04/2020 22:58

first not fist - why doesn't Mn let you have a moment to edit typos??

WingDefence · 03/04/2020 16:13

@NotSorry I was coming on here to say exactly the same thing. Grin DH bought me one last year, double sized with different controls on each side. I stick mine on high even at the moment to warm my side of the bed up for half an hour before bed, while he doesn't have it on at all unless it's winter!

Every night I get into bed and thank DH!

A blanket-with-arms for our freezing house.

Retro car seat covers for my classic.

A necklace made from an old charm of my DP's mum.

FiveShelties · 07/05/2020 07:42

My parents bought me a Shetland Sheepdog for my Christmas present was I was 6. I am an only child and it was fabulous to grow up with a dog. I am now, much older and on my 5th Sheltie and still love them.

A subscription to a book club. The best part was that the person who ordered it wrote loads about what I'd like, so I got 12 months worth of the most phenomenal books, all beautifully wrapped and delivered on the the first of every month.

Also, my fablou bag. I love it! I have started a wee collection of them now.
