Argos crashed during payment. Money gone, no confirmation.

No trace of purchase.
Item still in basket. No emails. Nothing on account.

Bank very specific £22.50 down on available balance.

So annoying. Going to have to spend god knows how long trying to get through to bank now.

Am I right in assuming I'll have to wait for it to be reversed or something?

It might have gone through, some companies don't send an email, I'm sure Argos has done this to me before. And Asda has done too
Can you log into the app then look into my reservations?

Clear cookies, then log back into your account. If it's not showing in your orders then give them a ring or send an e-mail. They'll be able to trace it for you easily.

All you need is your address and e-mail, they'll be able to trace it.

I had this before. They told me it was a banking issue as they didn't know about the order so the money had not met them. So it had left my bank (as pending) but would not reach them. I rung my bank. The money left pending and went back into my account a couple of days later. I have had the same thing happen with Pizza Hut too. Both because my internet cut out

Might be pending transaction and can return within 3-5 days.

If Argos cant trace it, you will have to wait till it clears on your statement and then send that to Argos or get a ref id from your bank
