They were very organised.
Only 10 people allowed into the shop at one time. One in, one out.
Staff stationed at the doors ensuring customers queuing on the car park maintain the 2m distance.
Signs all over the shop saying if you cough you will be asked to leave.
You can’t ‘wander’ around the shop, you have to follow the aisles and the person in front of you which means people can’t make a mad dash for the toilet rolls / nappies / paracetamol etc. But it also means you can’t backtrack either. I don’t know what you do if you’ve passed something and then remember it.
There were plenty of toilet rolls (2 packs per customer).
It was a very civilised experience under the current circumstances.
This is in Lancashire by the way.
