Can I do anything with sad raspberries

Motherofmonsters · 27/03/2020 09:40

I have some raspberries that have gone sad really quickly. They are a bit squishy and some have little mold marks.on them but not totally mouldy.

Can I do anything thing with them.or should they be chucked?

Could I blend them for my weaning baby or will they make her sick

Thank you

wash them and pick of the moudly bits. cook them up with some sugar (just a little) into a bit of instant jam. Not for the baby but for you with breakfast on toast or with porridge

I would pick or cut any manky bits off - and then mash up (maybe with a little sugar or on its own) to have as a sort of compote with yoghurt or, if you have cream / eggs and can make meringue, a sort of Elton mess.

Yep, trim off mouldy bits and stir into hot porridge. Yum!

I'd pick off the mould, and find a recipie for raspberry cake!

Definitely don't give anything to your baby, in any form, that has had mould on it.
