So I’m assuming the people who are against what she did are giving the posters picking up their children from other places to live with them a hard time?

The government guidance/PHE say it's OK to collect our children from university but they have to self isolate when they get home.

I think what she's done is despicable, ditto the Queen moving to Windsor and Prince Philip moving from Sandringham to be at Windsor. They aren't members of the same household normally so they shouldn't be able to move to live together - it's the same for other couples who don't nomally live together.

It makes my blood boil that people are taking advantage of their priviledge so much when normal people are really struggling.

He should not have travelled up to Scotland

He was already there! He was already there. He was already there. He was already there! Take note.... he was already there.

The Queen hasn't moved to Windsor, she lives at Windsor. I don't have an issue with Prince Philip going there. He's nearly 99 years old and in poor health.

Re Charles, I don't know when he went, which makes a difference, but probably on balance I think he should have stayed at Highgrove.

The Queen lives at Windsor some of the time. She also lives in London, Norfolk and Scotland. Prince Philip might be 98 and in poor health but the rules are the rules - we can't claim an exception because we feel like it so why should he?

genfromgrimsby · 26/03/2020 10:46

According to the BBC:

"The duke and duchess arrived in Scotland on Sunday. Charles had been displaying mild symptoms over the weekend and was tested by the NHS in Aberdeenshire on Monday."

@Divebar Givent hat he had symptoms he should not have travelled anywhere. Still it's OK when you just have to make a phone call and the local NHS will drop everything to rush to your aid at the expense of a local person who has not broken the rules isn't it?

MowCopCastle · 26/03/2020 10:52

@divebar The Times are reporting he had symptoms the day before he travelled.

dorapicasso · 26/03/2020 10:53

Genfromgrimsby having read that BBC statement I absolutely agree that he should not have travelled anywhere. Totally irresponsible.

Who gives a toss what she thinks or says?
