Is it possible to "customise/lock" washing machine settings so certain programs aren't usable?

I live in a rented apartment and just noticed it no longer gives me the option to use 60C to wash anything any more. When flicking through the temperatures, it goes 20, 30, 40, ---,

It's a logik washing machine.

Don't wash most things at 60C but for dust mites, it really helps.

I wonder if the landlord has turned it off? Is that really possible to lock certain settings?

Does it depend if you choose a cotton or synthetics setting?

More likely the wash setting, some only show certain temps. I think mine only has one setting that allows temp to go above 40

Logik is curry's own brand so unlikely to be that technical. I would say it is more than likely an error than if something g has just disappeared program wise.
