Little tikes 4-in-1 trike pedals

Can anyone help please?! I’ve got a little tikes 4-in-1 trike and I can’t figure out how to stop the pedals spinning round.

I’ve disengaged the pedals by pulling the hub by the front wheel out and have changed the steering to lock and unlock but will all options the pedals still spin when it’s being pushed. What have I missed please?

Same! I assumed there wasn’t an option to, it’s not a great design though.

Ahh no way! I was hoping there was a way to do it because my little girl is definitely going to get her feet caught on those pedals before we know it

No I never figured out how to do it and chatting to others with the same trike it doesn’t appear to actually be a thing you can do! Very annoying! My little one never got their feet stuck though even though I was worried about this
