DD will be turning 14 in less than 2 weeks and is feeling pretty down about the whole situation.

We had booked tickets to go and see a couple of shows and had another activity planned too but all have these have been postponed, I've told her these were her gifts as she had been asking for ages but of course we will now have to wait for new dates.

I managed to order some replacement presents online before the "lockdown" occurred and still hoping these arrive on time.

Of course she is unable to have a celebration with her friends and although I have said will definitely arrange something once all this is over it isnt helping her mood about the day.

Please wise mumsnetters how can I make this the most epic isolation birthday ever!

Use Zoom to get everyone online Old and young via web cams all together. Big TV, brilliant if it can be a surprise. Ask parents if they can make their end look party-ish and stick music on
