I'm not techy but need to block Roblox from our computer. Im getting worried about my kids using it. Does anyone know how to do this?!

What are you worried about ? Roblox is pretty innocuous. Disable chatting if that bothers you, but most kids play Roblox with no problems.

You can block all internet game sites from the your account on the websites of many internet service providers. Additionally, you should be able to do this through the parental controls of your computer.

@PoetLauren what exactly are you worried about?

My son uses Roblox and it's very well curated and moderated. Even though there is a chat function it has incredibly stringent auto filters on it which censor out anything which is unacceptable language but also words and phrases which might pertain to ages, names, places or asking personal questions.

When my son wanted to play Roblox we had to download and install a backup program so I'm not sure how your child is using it unless you've installed this?

If you really want to block the site completely then it's quite easy to do it but you'll need to tell me what browser you're using and then maybe I can give more detailed advice?

Thanks, my ex set it up. I think I'll disable the chat.

We've just turned on the parental controls and I regularly log onto it from my laptop and check who's down as DD's friend. She's 10yo and in Y6, so I try to allow these things while monitoring and discussing. She knows what the rules are in our house and I can only hope she'll be sensible when at others' houses.

The parental controls can be used to limit only curated content which DD doesn't like so much as her friends have free access everywhere. I allow her time with full access to content (but chat restricted) while she sits near me or DH.
