Son's 18th

Morning everyone

My son will be 18 shortly. Obviously we can't plan a party nor have family over to celebrate on his special day.

Whilst I have bought him a card. I need to sort out a cake - might try to order one or make one (if I can get hold of any eggs!)

We'll sort out his main present once coronavirus has gone away.

Can you think of anything that I can order for him so that he has something to open on his bday or some kind of themed treat to make his day special?

What kind of things does he like op?
Maybe a new video game to keep him entertained whilst not allowed out
A personalised bottle of something now he is allowed to legally drink
An experience day or something like that which he can do when this is all over? :)

Do make the present opening a bit more exciting you can set him a treasure hunt around the house to find the present.

Don't know where you live, or budget etc., but many cafes are now doing delivery of "Afternoon Tea".

Has he mentioned wanting to take up a new hobby that could be done from home?

Is he planning to go to uni? You could order lots of supplies for him to take so he has lots to open.
Could you organise a party for him with his friends on Zoom? My 8 yr old GD had tea with her whole class yesterday.

Aww I really feel for him. The first chance to officially go to the pub and he can't. Sad

Sorry I know that's not remotely helpful...
