What do you need right now to get through the next few hours? To make the hours bearable or help to keep you sane amidst life?

Name it, anything, anyplace, anywhere

What would help you?

A poo, I've had poo pains all day but nothing gives

FreakForHummous · 24/03/2020 22:47

Reassurance that I am doing ok.

I'm currently juggling going into work and leading staff under high stress with parenting two young teens. I feel well out of my depth.

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 24/03/2020 22:51

A sports massage. After two days of PE with Joe I can barely move!

CrocodileFondue · 24/03/2020 22:52

Health and immunity to this virus, I'm so terrified of either my immunocompromised DS getting sick or of me (serious health issues) dying and leaving him. Sad

tunnocksreturns2019 · 24/03/2020 22:52

Milk! Couldn’t get any. None for breakfast.

Eireni · 24/03/2020 23:00

Hair bobbles. I have none left.

I did find some forgotten ferrero rocher from xmas in the store cupboard today! That and gin has meant I care less about my hair flapping about this evening at least.

An osteopath, a physiotherapist and more painkillers. Only the last one is vaguely possible.

Or a completely new body.

ViveLEntenteCordiale · 24/03/2020 23:29

Sorry not very lighthearted. Would settle for some weed or gin (which I also don't have!).

WaxOnFeckOff · 24/03/2020 23:37

Mine is for my husband to stop faffing about and get to fucking bed.

He normally goes really early and then I go up when he is hopefully sleeping as I just need 10 minutes peace to get to sleep properly. If i don't get that then I can struggle to get to sleep at all or wake with a migraine. He exercised late so has stayed up later. he doesn't have work as off with CV symptoms and can't work from home (NHS worker)

So, me going to bed: Go upstairs using light from kndle to guide me, sneak into bathroom, go to toilet, quietly wash and do teeth and take out lenses, take clothes off and sneak into bed. 5 minutes absolute tops.

Him going to bed: Seems to involve more than 40 fucking minutes of up and down stairs, running taps, thumping about, walking about etc etc. He went up at quarter to 11 and is still fucking about up there! I need to be up for work early in the morning to get a log in slot and now all I want to do is stab him so I'm thinking I'm maybe not really wound down enough for bed? I guess I don't usually notice this as he goes up about 2 hours before me.

I honestly do love him and we've been married for 24 years but I really don't think we are compatible....Grin

Rant over....

My hubby to stop panicking at everything I’ve managed to get online shopping booked for 15th of April but he’s been doing my head in about it, it’s weeks away to be honest I can’t worry about so far ahead yet,

Letitallbeover · 25/03/2020 00:45

To have a good nights sleep and get rid of the thoughts out of my head that I will never see my adult children again. I am crying myself to sleep every night. I am so very very scared.

WildOrchids67 · 25/03/2020 00:48

A back rub. And a comfy chair and proper desk for me to work from home at. As it is, I'm probably going to have to work from my bed just to be somewhat comfortable!

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 25/03/2020 00:49

Right now id like to magic away the feeling of needing a wee as im so snuggly in bed with the dog and i dont want to move

Arseit · 25/03/2020 00:50

LooseGoose29 · 25/03/2020 07:58

For my sister not to working on the intubation team at the hospital. She is absolutely terrified and so are we, my nephew is a toddler and doesn't understand why his mum can't give him a big cuddle as she comes through the door.

AnotherMurkyDay · 25/03/2020 18:39

Chocolate and a cuddle
