People can be so kind

I’m a frontline nhs worker and as a single mum rely heavily on my dad for childcare with a few hours of nursery. My dad can’t care for dd at the moment due to being high risk for cv due to a health condition.

I have managed to increase dds hours significantly at nursery and switch to day shifts only, however this was going to cost around £500 a month extra. I didn’t tell anyone this and have some savings to cover it in the short term however I had a phone call from the nursery today saying that they are waiving all additional fees as other parents had paid their fees in full despite not using their place meaning dd can slot into their sessions. I’m so grateful, I had savings to cover it, but it means my little rainy day fund will stay intact and maybe allow for a few treats for dd when this is all over. If you’ve been able to pay your nursery fees anyway, thank you so much, you may have helped sometime like me and I’m so grateful.

This is so lovely.
Hope work isn't too awful and things can return to some kind of normality soon for us all.
Stay safe.
