Baby boom coming?

Do you think that there will be a spike in the birth rate in 9 months due to the lockdown? I can't help thinking that there will be quite a lot of people jumping on each other during the enforced togetherness.

Interesting to see how many people think that the absolute opposite is likely to happen. I am in neither the shagging-like-rabbits camp not the divorce-the-bastard camp but give it another few days and I'll be firmly in the divorce camp, I'm sure.

I’m 3 days in to this and I have no idea how our marriage will survive being cooped up 24 hours a day together. We’re used to space and DH is often away travelling.

Only positive thing is I guess the number of affairs will go down! Must be impossible to conduct anything extra curricular at the moment...

Hell no. Sex is the last thing on my mind. Being stuck in a house with ds1 and 2 and dh is turning me alittle dolally 🤪

I agree with the not right now. I expect many people are thinking this is not the world they want to bring a baby into. And as for that baby boom, times were different: less contraception available, lots of people had babies in their early twenties.
