How do you get priority delivery for sainsburys??

My step dad is self isolating for 12 weeks and my mum is mid 70'so. I'm trying to set up a online account for them for delivery. It says vulnerable will get priority but doesn't show how to register for it.

You have to phone. It's: 0800 320 1700. My mum's in the same situation.

call customer services and/or get delivery saver as they get 2nd priority

I started a thread in the CV forum about this. Best of British trying to get through. I've been trying yesterday and today, and on the rare occasion I actually don't get the engaged tone (about 5 times out of a few hundred) I get a recorded message that wastes 90 seconds of my life before hanging up.

Don't waste time with Twitter - they're just stock replying to people to call the helpline.

If you registered before Thursday last week with an over 70s DOB, you were put on the list automatically. I think you'd now either have to wait for them to do a refresh, or call up and try to talk to someone.

In the meantime, can you do their shopping for them and drop it outside their door? They'll probably have a hefty wait before they can get a slot, and that's after Sains have updated their account...

I've been trying since yesterday to get through with no luck found a post on Twitter with a different number 08000 052 5500. I tried a few times but eventually got through to an amazing helpful man who got my parents on the list. Might be worth trying that number guys and good luck
