Is there someone you're irrationally envious of?

I have someone in my life that from time to time, I am struck by thoughts of jealousy of. He's in an old colleague, similar sector, far enough to feel remote, but close enough to feel a comparison to him. If I shared the details, and it wasn't him, it would be in no way especially remarkable (we're not talking someone who become a Hollywood film star).

Does anyone else have anyone if their life where you feel envious of, even though, if you shared it with someone else, it wouldn't make any sense?

No. I used to feel envious of people, but then I realized you never really know what someone's life is like until you walk in their shoes. Someone can have the most perfect life from the outside, but behind closed doors they're in an abusive relationship or suffering from mental illness. We're all different and everyone has a diffeny path to walk in life. Envy is a wasted emotion.
