I have got some lambs liver out of the freezer to help keep my dog happy during his reduced activity.

Has anyone got any tips on how to cook ? Thanks in advance

Just fry it - it doesn't take much cooking. My dog used to love the stuff. It's v rich in vit A so you need to be a bit careful with portion sizes.

Thanks. Mine hasn't tried it before, he's had lamb heart and loves it. I just cooked that in a dish in the oven.

I do it in the oven.

You can also make liver cake which most dogs go mad for!

My cats just eat it raw. Dogs can safely eat raw liver too.

I used to bake it then slice it in to treat sized pieces = doggy crack! :)

Thanks every one. I tried half and I will bake the other half. Stuffed it in a toy with peanut butter and a few biscuits.
Kept him busy for ages
