Am I the only person whose bum is throbbing this morning thanks to Joe bloody Wicks?

Or are the rest of you gym honed goddess’? Seriously though, my glutes are screaming. And I have to do it again in ten minutes. It’s going to be very painful...

Must admit I have been avoiding Joe Wicks Grin.

However, it did inspire me to look for this - who remembers it? I might do this with the dc instead!

I was sore in various places this morning! I run and do PT, but Joe’s workouts always get me however fit I am.

Great fun though, the whole family joined in. Imagine how fit we’ll be if we persist with that every morning for 12 weeks!

I think I'm pretty fit normally,(I was up to 15 miles in marathon training before it was all cancelled) but just working different muscles to normal.

Ooh good call with the Jane Fonda! I'm going to get my zig zag leotard on and do that instead. I haven't been able to embarrass my children enough lately. Ticks box

I'm not sore, annoyingly. But I run and do at least one other workout every day. I've run 75km already over the last 8 days. I'm having to cut back a bit now that the children are home but I've done 7k and Joe Wicks today. Might do some yoga this evening too.

I really hope JW kickstarts fitness for lots of people.

You can do low impact jumping jacks just with stepping out to the side. Jog on the spot instead of high knees (that kills my pelvic floor). Most stuff can be done low impact.
I haven't done it yesterday, only today and I'm so grateful for this guy. And all the other youtubers who do free stuff.

I also love how he encouraged people to make up their own routine instead of 'pay for my PT sessions'.

I am mega sore and I thought I was vaguely fit! GrinI'm hobbling very slowly round the house...

Loving it though and I'm very grateful. My dh joined in today and we all laughed and smiled and it made the start of our day cheery rather than sludgy.

I am unfit, so I have decided to follow the kids PE stuff to hopefullyb ease me into getting fit. I can't do the 9am livestream as I'm working online then, so I'm doing it as catch up before I start work, during what would be my normal commuter time. Wow, I think I did better than I expected today.

Joe is streaming live at 9 am on YouTube. I’m not a fitness gym person, more of a fast walker but I tuned in yesterday as ds was struggling with the uncertainty of life. We did it together & we both found it fun, uplifting and made the rest of our day feel slightly better. He does shout outs to others joining in and ds loves to hear that children in other countries are all doing the same thing.
I’m still not a PE person but I admire Joe for what he’s doing & we will join in when we can.

For me, none of the stuff seems difficult at the time (except sit ups -im awful at those) and I'm warm but not sweaty by the end of it ....but definitely feeling the effects the next day. I think in a way that's what's good because it feels quite easy at the time and you pay for it later😉
